Perdido Pass Fishing
We will be coming to GSSP from Oct. 6-13 and I am interested in trying fishing Perdido Pass for the first time, along with visiting the pier. Looking to fish for flounder, pompano, and specs specifically.
Do any of the members here focus on fishing the Pass that can give me some tips on things I may need to do differently from the pier? Different lures, lines, or baits?

That's a great question. I'll be there next week. I really don't want to walk those jetties. I thing you can fish near them. I'm at the resort next to the western jettie

You can wade out on both sides of the eastern jetty. There is a very deep hole on the inside of the pass that I saw several flounder taken from. The boats under the bridge were catching blues or mackerals pretty consistently the whole weekend but I had no luck.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
