    Non resident license?

Does a Saltwater license cover fishing the pier? I know there is a Pier fishing license that covers only the pier but my boys and I like to fish the pier as well as the surf in the evenings some when we visit from Texas...even if we dont know what we are doing! We usually just catch baitfish and occasionally hook up on a shark but this year I may put the time in and try to learn how to fish for a king.

    Thanks for any help,
    Jason

Yes it does. It will still cost you eight dollars for a daily pass at the pier though.

Saltwater License covers everywhere along the coast including the pier, but you still have to pay the $8 Fishing Fee.
Lake Shelby, which is freshwater is not covered..
