Thread: No Spring Break Trip!

I/we can't make it down this spring for fishing (once again), have to pay for my daughters Spring band trip to NYC which seems to increase in price everyday! How does the fishing and weather compare from April as opposed to September?

I always loved the spring break trips, but once retired a month in the fall for the same $....how could that be beat....and in the month there should be a week or 2 of good fishing.....spring time I have brought a cooler full of fish home(some years) and others a baggy full....like anytime..... you are at God's mercy with the weather and fish cooperation ....but you never know unless you go....bringing fish home is just a bonus....it is the time spent on the rock and viewing God's creations in the sea....plus with many friends I have met and fortunate to know now all makes for my trips no matter the time of year

Spring is my favorite time to fish, fall is a very, very close second.

One of the many joys of parenthood, you will have many more. Did you get any of the snow, or do you have enough?

flyguy, the snow is just about gone...cold temps though!

You have my sympathy. It seems that I also will not be able to come down. I have one graduating HS and starting college and all that goes with that.
