No Beer on the PIer
According to a reliable source, there won't be beer sold on the pier any time soon. It didn't pass :headbang:

Re: No Beer on the PIer
I dont know... I feel bad for the ones that wanted it. The more I think about Navarre and their setup with the bar and grill, the more I am open to the idea.
I even found myself defending the idea to my wife. She saw it on the news and was like, "You're not going to keep taking the boys down there are you?" And I was like, "Navarre sells beer and we fish there all the time." Then I was like "wait, did I just defend the bar?"
Can anyone cite an incident that took place at Navarre because of drinking and fishing? I have never seen any.
Is the grill still going to open?

Re: No Beer on the PIer
Right, it didn't pass and it was refused on the grounds of safety. The vote was three to three, which was not a passing vote. Joe Garris led the charge against and got unexpected support. Lisa stormed out in a great huff---don't think she was expecting that. There was a certain amount of smoke blown by the state and I think it got seen through.

:yippee: WOW! ???
Thanks to Haywire and anyone else with the cajoles to show up and voice your opinion one way or the other. :headbang:
And yeah, I doubt this is over yet.
But make it a poster case to never, NEVER give up on what you belive is the right thing to do.
If folks don't stand up and speak their mind then other folks are more than happy to make it up for them. :mrt:(RETIRED) mostly.
