Next Week
Coming down next week with the family. Been fishing the pier for four years now and have never really fished the octi. My 13yr old son and I usually fish the shallows or just past the restrooms. Going to give the end a shot this year and see if we can hook a big Red or something. Fished salt water all my life but moving to North Texas has squashed that so we only get to do it on Gulf Shore trips. Have been reading the forum for a couple years so hopefully I'm full of info and pier ettiquite. Can't wait to get there and see you guys soon.

I always keep a dead one under my pier cart for such occasions. good luck

I'm gonna get back to the pier tomorrow and bring my not-so-secret weapon and catch a whole bunch of fish. I need to go to the store and find some of Tato's cheap lures, too.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
