Next Week
Coming back down to Gulf Shore next week...finally...I will be out on the pier some, but also my wife and some of her friends wanted to go down to the beach, I wanted to know if their are some good surf fishing spots, possibly down Fort Morgan Road, that's where we camp. Easily Accessible, maybe not too crowded. Any input would be great, thanks guys

From Hwy 59, you can go east on Ft Morgan Rd to Mobile street. It's approximately 8-10 miles. Turn left on Mobile St and go to the public parking area. Not too crowded and please bring fresh H20 for the dog. It will be hot, hot, hot. Fine surf fishing in the area.

If you are headed off to the beach off Mobile that is part of the wildlife area so don't bring the dog.
They will ticket you since dogs are not allowed in the wildlife areas - including the beach.
I speak from experience.

There are "No Pets" signs at all the State beaches I know of. Had to leave my goldfish in the car---he was very disappointed. I THINK the Ft. Morgan beaches fall under G.S. jurisdiction, but I'd be real surprised to find a G.S. LEO on the beaches out there.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
