New Rod&Reel
Looking for a new med.-heavy combo, don't want to spend more than $250. Any suggestions?

For that price I would look at one of the penn 6500 bail less models and one of the rack custom rods John sells at J and M tackle.

Not sure what fish you are after but I second the Battle II combo for Kings etc I have one and love it It can handle anything I've run nacross so far and smooth to use For spanish plugging live bait bubble rigs etc I use a Penn Pursuit Combo for $57.95 rod and reel It's got great line capacity is strong and smooth Good rod that will handle anything even a king yet light to use so your don't wear yourshelf out Can get one piece or two piece for traveling Due to the price I am able to have several on my cart rigged and ready so I don't have to retie in the heat of battle and normally if the fish want something I'm going to have it ready for them Has worked very well for me
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
