New Quantum Cabo PT 80
Anyone have one or have any reviews on them. I have some gift cards to Cabelas and like the way they look. Thinking about using it for cobia. Thanks, James

I have a 70 I haven't used yet, kinda heavy for a reel compared to others....I have 2 cabo 40 and a 20.....very smooth, like the bail trip and drags are smooth....so I assume the 80 would be the same

You're probably not gonna hear many complaints with the PT bearings and 40# of drag!

It is a little heavy, kinda like a tank but smooth like a Cadillac ;-)(RETIRED) mostly.

Haven't used a Cabo but I have two of the other PT reels and they are smooth as silk and built to last.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
