new member wanting to say hello
I just wanted to say hello to all the peeps on the the forum. I fished the pier for the first time last year and for lack of better words I'm hooked. I also was blown away with all the talented and knowledgeable anglers out there. I have fished freshwater for 25 plus years and there is nothing like the salt life. I cant wait to get back at them. I haven't had the pleasure of taming a king yet but did wrestle some big reds. I didn't really have the right gear or know how but thats gonna change this year. I've been doing research and some shopping with the info from ya'll and I'm ready. I'm gonna be there the last week of may and second week of june hope to see some of ya'll there and just wanted to say thank to all of you guys who post info for us newbies

Educate me a little bit if you will. What are good turbidity numbers? If you can check those stats and determine what the water looks like before you go, that would be VERY helpful!
