New gear?

We carry braid up to 200lb but that is overkill.The next time your in hit me up for some 100 or 130lb used stuff that we have laying around.

I think I'm finally going to build my vertical jigging set-up this season. Think I'll go with a Shimano Trevala rod, medium heavy, and a Spheros 8000, and probably 65lb braid. Should be fun! :):

John G's building a new rod for me and it's going to be hard waiting to try it out, but I won't have any choice until the kings show up. :)

Where is the best Hobie dealer to go check out their line of yaks in person? I've only seen pictures of them online, never fished with anyone that owns one but hear great reviews out of their products. Thanks.

Well I was wrong. They were not 706s. They are 3 Spinfisher 700s. I still picked them up. The two I am goin to sell are in great shape mechanically, well lubed and taken care of. The paint is original but definitely shows signs they were well user. I will have them put up in the BST section sometime tomorrow for anyone interested.

fairhope boat company is who i normally deal with, Harriet is great to deal with. they also have a store in pcola, pensacola kayak and sail...

I'v bought several boats through FHBC and they will let you test out several models as well

That's the second time in 2 days I've heard somebody talking about GPS tags. Can you give me a little info on them?

Had to look it up myself Rob.It's a chip put in pets for GPS tracking,I think.

only problem with those chips is you cant track them on the net. you have to have the animal(or reel and rod in this case) to use a scanner to know who it belongs to. its not a GPS so to say. its more of a electronic identifier
