Need custom reel work done.
I have a 302 i'm wanting to have drilled and powder coated and a Lil more work done to. I just can't see myself doing it to a 706. Who is the best at this? And post pics of yours if u have done em.

if you can do it to a 302.... why not a 706? ruined is the same either way ....but looking good....I was going to powder paint one (706z) to clean up a lot of boat rash, just haven't yet....it still catches fish just the same....functional is all I need and pretty, well I do like the looks of some things....but to drill holes..... I would never go there.

Another vote for the_reel_doc
I had Larry refinish a Penn 8500SS spinner I found wedged into a jetty, outside it was in pretty rough condition, but interior was fine.
Anyways, Larry took the reel stripped it completely down and refinished/refurbished it inside and out, and it looked pretty darn good.
Don't know if he powder coats, but as Fin said, he can probably direct to a good source.Ragnar Benson:

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
