Neap tide effect on Surf Fishing
I know neap tide often closes down the bite in the bay. Does neap tide effect the surf fishing bite in the same manner? Except for the neap things look good for surf fishing the next few days.

I believe it does, I know other people say you just have to be more creative when fishing. Most of the time that I have fished fort morgan or the point or where ever along the coast neap tide seems to be the least productive from the surf.

I believe it did today.
Somedays not so much, but this morning there was NO waves or swell and very little wind and there wasn't much caught that I saw or heard of.
And to top it off there were plumes of fresher bay water moving up and down the coast from different different directions.
All compounded it made today (at least) a very tough catching day...

Thanks for the information. You saved me a trip.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
