Navarre News
Bob and I went to Destin for a few days and after fishing their pier and seeing a total of only 3 Spanish caught in a day and a half, we moved to the Navarre pier. What fun we had there. Wednesday morning I promptly hooked up on a king, but as I like to do, i cranked my drag down and lost it. 3 other kings caught that morning and although we missed the very early Bonita bite, several other runs came through and we both had a ball pulling in our share. When the rain started, the kings started coming through again, and probably 20 were landed with a few more lost. One guy alone caught about 6 to 7. A fair spanish bite started up mid afternoon. On our way home today, we stopped to fish again and while no kings or bonita, the big Spanish were on fire, to include several axe handle size. Everyone keeping Spanish had their limit and everyone fishing had smiles on their faces.
