I'm not a local, from MN., but we Winter down there and fishing is tough in Jan. & Feb., a few sheeps, whitting & reds to put on the dinner table and some junk fish to feed the gulls. But it's fishing, what more do you you want? Go for it! It's a great place to be, and the people are GREAT! Maybe we can hook up and I will show you what not to do.

I'm with flyguy....go for it! In the last 5 years being down for a week in January or February I've had 1 year that was great fishing, 2 were ok and 2 were pretty much a bust but I still enjoyed being out there.

That's giving more confidence
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
