Lots of Sharks
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for the Alabama Gulf Coast.. Thankfully this is on the East coast of Florida. At least for now.

Was tough to tell because they were so small. Hopefully North!

Palm Beach County is on the Atlantic side.
There are no sharks in the Gulf ;-)

I just wanted to make sure they were going on up into the Atlantic and weren't going to turn around and come back into the Gulf----you know, fill the vacuum left by the total absence of sharks here.

They really need to lower the size limit on those things.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

If our water were that clear, that's probably what it would look like around our pier. On a slow day.
Come to think of it, that IS how it looks around the pier, clear water or not. Just hook a mackerel and watch.

According to the article it's an annual event, just a bit later than normal this year because the water temp up north has been warmer longer. El Nino or the like...

Yada, yada, yada, every year same old thing, "OMG, Look at all the Sharks!" Yes folks, once again the great annual Blacktip migration is in full swing.
Just like they do every year, must be why its called an annual, but everyone acts like its never happened before.
And sad but true, they're coming back here too.
No doubt they'll make enormous pests of themselves yet again.Ragnar Benson:

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
