    Looney jig

I was looking for tips on fishing the looney jig. Generally speaking, do you work it bouncing off of the bottom? Slow retrieve vs quick. I know its probably relative to species.

Me personally was told to let it sink to the bottom them as fast as you can jerk it and reel for about 4 rounds on your reel . Kinda like you do with a gotcha except faster. Of course you don't have to let it go to the bottom depends on the depth fish are at.

Varies with what the fish want. Some day, cast it out and reel in as fast as you can. Other days, let sink, jerk, let sink, jerk... Other days its like Robert said. Just gotta match the hatch.
