Looking for local Knowledge for trip 10/23 - 10/27
I think I have all the gear that I need and mainly fish the Pass on prior trips. I am interested in fishing the pier this trip and wanted some local advise on what best target would be. Equipment being brought will handle kings, reds or light tackle for Spanish, blues and occasional bonito. Will the kings still be in the area? I know the bull reds will be close. Again, just looking for local knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am bringing someone new to this with me and want to make it a memorable experience for him. He is an experienced fresh water fisherman and charter boat attendee, but neither pier or pass. Figured the pier would be best for first time. Not sure the rocks would be suitable.

go to j&m or sams tackle stores in orange beach they will set you up with everything you need to go pier fishing..... both are great tackle shops!
get the gaff!!!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
