Re: lodging
Check out VRBO. You be able to find a deal from an individual. Microtel is ok but make sure your in the new building and not the old one. There's a Courtyard Marriott in Foley that's just been remodeled and should be nice. Stay away from the travelodge and days inn, they're nasty. GO check out bookit.com and hotels.com, sometimes there's deal through them just make sure you confirm the reservation with the hotel since things can get messed up through 3rd parties.

Re: lodging
I worked there at one point back when it was a quality inn then days inn then travelodge. between the flooding, mold, bugs, and sewage issues you couldn't pay me to stay there.

did the same the first part of May and the same price....that is kinda off season....between spring break and the summer push....there are some decent ones on the link I supplied ....but not to many dates open....
heck the place we had last year was booked quick this year....got in the same building but not the same condo....oh well, when you snooze you loose....I liked it but the wife didn't really away from the crowds and entertainment for the kids....I liked it ....but heck I was on the pier 12 hours a day...and only slept thereBill..............
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
