    Locals look out!

The googans are headed South. How do you rig and retrieve gulp shrimp for flounder and specs off the pier?

[/quote] good luck on a speck eating a gulp out there.. I would suggest 4# test, the smallest treble you can find, and a live bait.. and a LOT of patients. It pays off but the specks wont really be in the surf 'till mayish I belive

I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I was really wanting to avoid using shrimp since the pinfish and ladyfish seem to destroy them befor the specs can get to them.

    Who said anything about shrimp
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

The saltwater part of that chart is what you need. The "trout" part is probably for freshwater trout (given hook and bait sizes). However, as you can see the rigging difference is minimal.
