    Little Lagoon places to fish

My wife and I are down for a few days and were wanting to fish in the Little Lagoon. Are there any other public access places we can fish other than the pass?

Are there any public lighted docks we could fish off of at night?

Also, any tips for fishing the Little Lagoon would be appreciated.

    Thanks guys

Best of my knowledge it's no to both. Without a boat you are pretty much limited to the pass. Mo's landing is not in favorable water, but you could fish there - don't know if its allowed after dark. I've waded and fished near Mo's in the fall - it's waist deep and flat, all I caught was short flounder and lizardfish.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Many places on lagoon have lighted pier but you have to rent from them. E.g. sea oats, is one example.

Dan S II has a condo at Gulf Shores Surf and Raquet Clun with 2 nice lighted fishing piers. Can't go wrong with free-lined live shrimp on 8# clear Ande mono and a size 8 treble hook at night.

8lb mono, any brand, will prove to be fun fishing. I use momoi and big game. Live shrimp and mud minnows or fresh dead shrimp should work. Hope this helps!
