Little Lagoon Fishing Report 02-11-2015
Went out in the kayak with Justin (Rockinchef). Launched at the pass, paddled west and the water was emerald green in the lagoon and pass. Beautiful day. We both managed to get one flounder each on artificial jigs just working the drop offs with the wind. Both flounder were small but keepers. Went out of the pass into the gulf because it was just too nice of a day not too and saw a flock of gulls and pelicans diving in about 30 foot and only a couple balls of bait down off the bottom but no other fish to be seen. Water temp in the gulf average from 55 degrees to about 60 degrees. East end was warmer than west end but the water was much clearer in the west. Here's some pics:

Looking forward to being down there myself in early March. Hopefully we can find some reds and specks with the flounder.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
