Is a fishing liscense required to fish on the pier? Also, how much is the fee to fish on the pier?
Thanks

Re: Liscense??
Fishing license is required on GSPP. You can get a pier fishing license for like $9 I think.
It also costs $8 to fish on the pier, but you could buy a 6 month to a year pass. Last year, I would hae saved a lot of money had I bought a pass instead of paying every time I went out.
You do not have to have a license to fish the Fl Panhandle piers.

Re: Liscense??
It's $11 for a non-resident annual pier license and says it's good from any pier in Alabama waters. So I guess if you go to Fort Morgan and fish off the little pier there it's good??

Re: Liscense??
I wouldn't bother fishing there. It's on the bayside and unless you are targeting mullet with a net not too much else to catch there. You can pick up the occasional flounder, speck, and shark along with some white trout but if you're looking for a king that's not the place.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
