Lion Fish in Alabama waters
If any of you catch one of these guys what ever you do DON'T THROW IT BACK ALIVE! I didn't realize they had made it this far north. Apparently they eat everything in site and take over reefs like the plague. Any of you seen one?

Ok, yes, you can eat these guys... :eat:
...however, don't. :spank:
I caught one of these back in 2009 and was very surprised to see it--was in Dauphin Island. Started catching them randomly throughout the following years as well.
Very, very destructive to our habitat--and primarily due to lack of predators to keep populations under control.
