Line Counter
Can anyone suggest a good line counter to use when spooling reels? I know Berkley has one but does not seem to have very good reviews. Rather than just filling the reel, I would like to know the footage/yardage of line loaded.
Thanks,

All of those 'clip on' line counters have poor performance and endurance ratings.
To get something DEPENDABLE you want a commercial grade line spooling station with a wheel counter and they ain't cheap.
Something like this...

Sounds like a design and patent opportunity.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
