Lillian boat launch/pier
Has anybody checked out the new pier and boat launch in Lillian just off 98. The pier is a little under 500 ft I would assume. Doesn't have down lights but is well lit from above. It has been there for a few months haven't had the chance to try it out yet. Walked out on it tonight. Pretty nice. There was nobody on it when I was there and I rarely see more than 6 people on it at a time. If anything, it might be a good flounder spot. Gonna hit it up soon.

Re: Lillian boat launch/pier
Just wondering if you had the chance to go back to Lillian Pier and tried it out. I want to take my son there. Do you think Reds are biting there. Also would like to know how the crabbing is on that pier. Thank you

Re: Lillian boat launch/pier
I went once, but didn't get anything. Not to say there is never anything caught there. Crabing is probably dynamite because I did have a few latch onto my gulp shrimp as I worked it through the water. It think live bait would probably be the order to catch anything there. I think as time goes by, fishing will get better there.

Re: Lillian boat launch/pier
Iv done quite well very close to there in my yak for trout and reds.. No monsters by any means, but some good numbers of trout under 20" and a lot of rat reds
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Educate me a little bit if you will. What are good turbidity numbers? If you can check those stats and determine what the water looks like before you go, that would be VERY helpful!
