Thread: Let the countdown begin

Only 35 more days and I finally get to put a face to a name, I look forward to fishing the pier every June. Thanks for all the great advice you guys give and the daily fishing reports.

97 more for me. going to seem like 1097.

I'm down to 18 days now and got the fever, checked and quadruple checked the gear, packed it twice already. Seems like it's taking forever to get here.

Aaahh the pure simple pleasure of reorganizing the tackle box.... and then doing it again a few days later... and then just 1 more time the next week... did I remember to put the pliers in there....only 3 more months ...

Same here! ;-)

All y'all want to do is get to the coast while all I want to do is get the hell out of this town and go to the hunting camp. The grass is always greener...... The pier is 10 minutes from my house and some of you spend more time on it in a week than I will in a year.

I hear you. Back when my work had me in GS/OB & on Fort Morgan a lot, I dreaded going down there from May through the end of August.

A real love-hate relationship with the summer season......
