Lagoon Pass Parking and Access
Last week or so someone posted that a rent-a-cop told him the parking lot at the pass is for workers only, so, after pigging out at Cobalt's Sunday Brunch Buffet I drove down to west pass to checkout the parking situation.
The signs do not indicate anything about restricted parking and the lot was full of beach goers' cars this afternoon. During the week the signs maybe different, but I doubt it. I think the access to the lagoon was supposed to remain open during the project.
There is no "public access" to the beach on the Gulf side but people were using driveways to get to the beach. The man-made on the lagoon side is open north of the construction area.
Here are some pics.

FinChaser, Thanks for the photos, coming down in a week, staying west of the lagoon. I fish it alot and thanks for the heads up!
I seen fish killed in Melbourne in the early 70's, we were snagging some monster fish out of the ICWW around Merrit Island. loved the fishing opportunity's as a kid there, fresh and salt water both...
