KY granpa coming to Perdido Key next week and needs help!
It'll be my first trip to Perdido Key and I want to fish with my 4 yr old grandson. Usually we stay near Venice and fish the jetty. I heard about the pier and it seems doable with the little guy. Any advice on tackle and methods or general advice would be most welcome. We'll be bring medium action equipment with 10# mono and another with 15# braided line. Will this work?

It should work great, but the braided line can cause nasty tangle. Although, being a bass person I know it is VERY expensive. So maybe you could take some of it off then get some 15 or 17 lb. mono top shot.
Go Vols, I don't mind Nick Saban, but Lane Kiffin just bends the rod too much.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
