Thread: kayak fishing btb

I am coming down to gs June 5th thru 9th. I am wondering if anyone might be interested in going out beyond the breakers. I have been going to the pier for about 10 years now so i have basic knowledge of fishing from the pier. My wife doesnt want me going kayaking in the big blue by myself. It would be nice to go with someone who has some ocean kayak fishing experience. I just cant wait to get pulled around in my new sit on top by a fish. Thanks

If I'm in town that weekend, I'll try to go with you. I'm not very experience in catching anything but sharks, but at least you wouldn't be alone. What type of kayak do you have and how far out were you looking to go?

i have a heritage 12 ft angler sit on top. i can usually fish in the yak for only 7 to 8 hours at a time so i dont know how far we can go out. getting pulled by a shark sounds fun. if your in town coastal i will be ready to go.
