Hey called tackle direct to order some parts for king live bait rigs. Asked for hooks wire and swivels. They sent me some 3561d -dt size 2 3 x strong. They are bright SS. For the hook is this going to cause problems? Wire is 7 strand. Comments?

They will be able to see the ss much easier than a bronzed or blued hook for sure. Not saying you won't catch one on em, but if it were me I would get bronzed hooks.

Bright SS hooks have three issues:
1. High visibility
2. Won't rust out of fish that pops off
3. Don't seem as sharp as other hooks

If they sent you shiny swivels get ya some small black ones
Get ya some #2 3X or 4X bronze trebles or call J & M and see if they will ship what you need.

J&M has shipped all the right stuff to me so I could sit at home and get my leaders ready for my trip.
