Ironman172 Jigs
I was fortunate to receive a bag of these and I passed along a majority of them out on the pier. Kim wanted me to let you know that she was catching a bunch of big Spanish on this particular one before a Spanish bit through on the leader. She wanted me to find out if you had more. I started using them a few weeks ago and have been pulling big Spanish off the bottom when the bite gets slow. Thanks

I sent all I had left over from the fall trip and haven't made anymore YET........... that metal flake green is a nice color for my smaller gaff's and only did a few on the jigs.....even the pink last fall were catching spanish for me.....so I guess sometimes something other then WHITE/WHITE is nice to have and throw

Thanks Chris for posting pic for me and sharing the jigs. Bill, I was having a blast with this one and had to take a pic because I knew I would eventually get cut off. Thank you for sending them down.

Your welcome Miss Kim,
I will make more,......... just ordered some more of that color paint, did a few gaff's in it so the jar is less then needed for dipping the jigs to cover them
with the temp's here in the mid to upper 80's the basement sure is feeling good , maybe time to start pouring and tying the jigs for future trips
also ordered a few other metal flake colors to try....... it seams to have some decent flash
one sent to a fellow northerner, plus my 2 box gaff's

I have that very gaff, and planning to baptize it in blood at my first opportunity in June. Given my luck, however, is it considered unseemly to ask someone to gaff an LY on a sabiki?

Had a chance to use an ironman gaff today. Most awesome gaff I've ever used. Need to add one to my arsenal...

Yes, but it's not an iIronman gaff. A friend made it in Wisconsin and it sure doesn't work like yours does for Kings. I used the one you made for Chris because it was only one of two on the pier today for about 30 people. I was surprised how true, straight and sharp it was. And by the way, Chris passed out some of your jigs the other day and he gave me some. Thank you both. Keep up the good work...in your spare time!

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
