Intercoastal Waterway Research Help!!
All,
My name is Richard Allen but most know me as Dick, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Coastal Engineering. I am looking to perform some preliminary, proof of concept, data collection of boat wakes within the intercoastal waterway. Data will be collected using a small pressure transducer and a motion activated camera. The pressure transducer would be attached to a pile or similar structure below the waterline and the camera would be above. The instruments need to be placed somewhere within the red box in the figure below. It would be preferable to find a private land owner with a dock somewhere within this area who would allow us access to install the equipment. We would need access for the initial installation of the equipment and once a week to download the data from the instrumentation. If you have property on the intercoastal within this area or know someone who does and is willing to gives us access please contact me. You can send me a PM or contact me via Email at Richman363@aol.com. Thanks.
