Exclamation Informational Video for Beginners - How to select lures for inshore saltwater fishing

This video is irrelevant to most people on this forum, but I wanted to share it as a resource for others to pass on to those who are interested in getting into our sport.

They look to be ranging in size from 1/8 to 3/8 of an ounce. Regardless of the actual size of the jigs in the video, that size range is good for those types of baits. Different sizes allow for different retrieve rates and depth control in varying conditions. There are situations which call for use of even larger jig heads up to 5/8 or even 3/4 of an ounce on plastic baits, but I personally would chose a different type of bait under those conditions.

Cast upcurrent or upwind, whichever has the most influence on the bait, and you'll be surprised how little weight is actually needed. I rarely if ever fish downcurrent or downwind. It can be more difficult to impossible to do but almost always more productive.

Where is the link? Don't see it.

@ pier#r -- David, you should do an instructional video on the type fishing you guide for. Heck, I'd buy it.
    Screw it. Let's ride.
