I wish I was coming instead of going. Thanks guys!

All good thing must come to an end. Tomorrow I'm going out on the party boat, weather permitting, and I will probable be packing on Weds. & Thurs. and then take off early on Fri. morning I want to thank all of you for the advice and assistance that you have given me, not only before my first ever trip to the GS/OB area but during my stay in God's Paradise. We will be coming back here next year during the Winter months, and it's not because of the fishing or the weather, but because of you guys and the beautiful area. I have met some very nice people, not as many as I would have liked to but it has been a very enjoyable and educational trip. I would have liked to have met "Haywire" but it didn't happen, but maybe it will yet, if not this year, maybe next. TIGHT LINES, EVERYONE!

Be careful what you wish for my friend!

It was good meeting you; come back when it warms up and you will get to meet plenty of members and catch fish too. Have a safe trip back to the frozen tundra.

Yeah, man, sorry we couldn't get together under the bridge---no, wait, that sounds a little sleazy. Well, maybe there will be something biting on the pier next year and we can team up to catch them. Sorry about the terrible fishing this year, and have a safe trip home---good luck on the head boat.

Flyguy, I hope you and yours have a safe and uneventful trip home. Sorry you didn't catch a bunch of fish, but on the bright side you did't have to shovel a ton of snow. Maybe a good neighbor will have your driveway clean when you get there. Take care friend.

Hopefully the reports in the near future will drive you bonkers and force you to make a trip down sooner.

Have a safe trip back to the great white north. It was very nice meeting you and I enjoyed talking with you last week. I know what you mean, Gulf Shores is a great place and catching fish is just a bonus. My wife and I use to go to Florida but since we came to GS 4 years ago we haven't went back there. I was down 3 times last year and hope to make it 4 times this year.

    flyguy,

Being a Northerner like yourself, I actually got to meet "Haywire"! He was packing up his stuff into his vehicle and I noticed his unique flag...I was able to somehow stammer out a "hi" and he actually responded back
(not sure what he said, me being a Yankee)! One of the best moments of my life! LOL! That being said the only reason he probably noticed me was because I was yelling at the kids to get the $^& in the %$^!$& van!
