Re: human bone
Maybe a little more info, a link perhaps?
Somebody find one, washed ashore or in the sand? Fido bring one home?Ragnar Benson:

Re: human bone
When they "finish their investigation" they wiil come to the conclusion that it was not human bones but rather barracuda bones (probably the same barracuda that dresses up like a shark and bites tourists from time to time) that is if they follow Orange Beach's lead on how to cover up reality. MESSAGE TO TOURISTS............THERE ARE SHARKS IN THE GULF AND SOMETIMES THEY NIBBLE, lol.

Barracuda, shark or whatever, that dudes foot didn't get :eat: on by Pinfish, and thats for sure.
I hadn't heard about the missing swimmer... Y a know one thing for sure though... The crabs got their share.
GULF SHORES, Alabama -- Three recent reports of bones being found on the beach in Gulf Shores resulted in the possible identification of one human bone as well as two nonhuman ones, Chief Ed Delmore said this afternoon in a news release.
The discoveries in East Beach in the area of Gulf State Park were reported to police between Saturday and today, Delmore said. Preliminary testing has shown that 2 of the bones are not human. One of the bones, however, is believed to be that of a human, he said.
GSPD detectives are working with the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and forensic anthropologists. The investigation is in its early stages and further information will be released when available, the chief said.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Sgt. Jason Woodruff at 251-968-1238. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 251-968-2431. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call the GSPD Crime Line at 251-968-1499.Ragnar Benson:

Re: human bone
I guess it's possible it could be from this guy who drown in late June.
http://www2.wkrg.com/news/2012/jun/27/m-ar-4050241/
ORANGE BEACH, Alabama --
32 year old Eric Pye is presumed drowned.. Originally from Summerville, South Carolina he and his new bride of only two weeks Audrea, made their home in Jackson, Mississippi along with their two children.
He was here on a family vacation when his wife tells News 5 he went swimming in the gulf not knowing the waters were closed because of tropical storm Debby.
She says he was caught in a rip current and if he had known the gulf was closed he would have never gotten in the water.
Double red flags were flying over Baldwin beaches Sunday with12 foot seas and a high risk for rip currents.
For a fourth day search and recovery efforts have continued from near Perdido Pass to the Gulf State Park Pier. Sonar, divers and beach and water patrols have searched for Pye. So far those searches have come up empty.
Search efforts could end tomorrow after a shoreline search from Perdido Pass to Fort Morgan(RETIRED) mostly.
