How do you fish the cigs

Everyone was very helpful when I asked about how to fish for kings. I will be stopping at J & M my first day for some supplies so John G. if you are reading I sure could use your help. My question is can anyone post a pic of a cig rigged up and how do you fish the cig? Throw it out and let it sit or retrieve it, does it sit on bottom??? I keep reading the daily reports and can't wait for 3-31. Fish-ON!

Get on you tube for the rigging, and someone shortly will surely tell you how to do so. The do it your self part of the forum tells one how to tie leaders, and what type. Finn and #r on here will give good advice, j and M tackel will have anything you need to king fish with.

Working a cig is something that has to be shown, not told.I learned from the best, a dude named Wayne Ho.When ya make it down I'll be happy to go fishing with you for a few minutes and teach you the basics.

Dang Wilson there's something wrong with that cig.The eyes are clear, tail and lateral line yellow, not shaped like a banana and still looks alive. Can't say I've ever seen a cig like that on GSSPP.

I have seen a cig or two caught off the pier. Last year we were on a boat about a mile south of the pier catching the crap out of them.
