    Hook box

Maybe it's just me but am I the only one that gets aggravated when your hooks get all mixed up. I can't seem to find a way to keep the hooks in there designated spot.any tips on how to correct this? Thanks for the help, the ocd appreciates it.

The smaller, hand sized, sectioned clear plastic boxes do better. The ones that are sealed against moisture are more expensive, but do a better job of keeping them separate too. I carry a two sided one, one for treble and one for single/bead/swivles/split shot. If that don't work good enough, prescription pill bottles will. Write what is in them with a sharpie on lid and side. That's the best ocd I got.

Get small zip seal bags in the craft section at Walmart. Pill bags work great for small stuff.

Save Aleve bottles for the small hooks and print the size on the lid; that will alleviate the problem.
Other pill bottles will also work.

I use small prescription med bottles or clear 35mm film canisters. Love the film canisters if you can still find them?

35 years ago I started fishing the jetty at Alabama Point and figured out (real quick) that I didn't need or want a large tackle box for terminal tackle.
The Micro Magnum tackle boxes were just coming out (made of rigid plastic back then) and served me well to keep small hooks, swivels and weights (BB shot) separated.
Nowadays they are made with the more flexible polypropylene and in a variety of styles, colors, etc. (all pocket sized ;-)

    Hope this helps!

When I kayak or wade fish i use the boxs mentioned by pier#r. They have the inserts so you can fit a few larger lures and keep some smal squares for hooks and etc. the only problem i had is when i used really small swivels, they will slide from compartment to compartment. so i fixed that..... i added a layer of vinyl to the inside of the top and glued it down. now the compartments are perfectly sealed.
