    Hi Vis Line

Do people fishing there use Hi Vis line only for King fishing om the Octi or is it also used on the side of the pier for Spanish, etc.

Seen people using just about any color that's made just have to make sure you use a clear mono or fluorocarbon leader. Or I forgot steel for Kings or maybe Spanish.

I only use it on my king rods but no reason you couldn’t use it on your Spanish rigs.

Doesn't really matter except that hi-viz SOMETIMES keeps others from tangling with you. I use it mostly when I'm fishing bait.

Put some red braid on my cig drifting king rod. Could not see it very well. Added about 30 yards of high vis yellow. Worked a lot better for me and others. When the water current is drifting across the front of the pier and 20 people are fishing you have to stay in a drifting pattern to keep from tangles. There will be some tangles anyway.
