Heroes On The Water
Today I got to do one of the greatest things in my life and something that I plan on doing for a long time coming. I was introduced to an organization called Heroes On The Water a few weeks ago. After checking into them to see what they were about, I found out that they are a nonprofit organization that conducts kayak excursions and kayak fishing excursions for any veteran(past, still serving, and even injured/disabled). They have come to find that these outings provide a therapeutic effect giving veterans stress relief as well as giving them skills to use in their post military life. I am proud to say that I am now a volunteer for them and will be doing all I can outside of my work to contribute to this organization. It gives me a great feeling and pride to be able to do something that I love and at the same time help out people that are extremely deserving for everything they have sacrificed so that I can do what I do. Please check out their website Heroesontthewater.org as well as their Facebook page(local chapter for Florida is the Emerald Coast Chapter based out of Navarre, there is a chapter in Mobile but they are just getting going and don't have a page yet). You can donate through their website as well. The Emerald Coast Chapter has a Saturday outing just about every month if anybody wants to come check us out(dates are posted on their Facebook page). So excited about this opportunity I have!

Here is a video from our outing. Have started up my own YouTube channel to put up my fishing videos once I edit them. Please subscribe to my page if you get the chance!

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
