Help me!!
Since this storm has messed up surf fishing, I'm reduced to fishing here at navy cove . Popping cork and gulp shrimp. Catching plenty of something.. lol. Think it's trout. Ideas?? Size limit? Silver with pinkish purplish shimmer. Nice set of front teeth!!

Pictures would help with ID, but I think it's what the locals call "white trout" (no restrictions)
Two closely related species, either Sand or probably Silver Seatrout...

Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum!

Good eating when filleted and fried fresh. White trout.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
