Looks like a bluefish to me, but it would help if his fins were more visible.
Edit: Wikipedia says bluefish have no close relatives, so I'm going with bluefish.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Bluefish.
Otherwise known as the "mouth full of teeth that will shred your fingers" fish.
One of the best fish out there for fish tacos, just make sure to cut the red meat out before battering & frying.Carl

Cleaned well as Carl describes, I have also broiled them with Mayo and blackened seasoning and thought they were very good. Fresh, never frozen.

I have filleted them, vacuumed packed & put in the deep freeze. 9 months later still made great fish tacos.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
