Headed to Gulf Shores
Headed to GS tomorrow for a week of vacation with family. Usually just surf fish but I'm bringing my boat this time(22 ft BlueWave Super Tunnel). We are staying on Little Lagoon just west of the bridge. . Any help with where to go would be appreciated. Planning on dragging the boat to Perdido a couple of days to fish around that area and possibly hit the artificial reefs 3 miles out. Love to trout and redfish here in Texas but have only caught few trout in the surf out in front of our condo in past visits to GS. Prefer to fish artificial but will probably cast net up some mullet as well. Thanks in advance!

There are HUGE specs in that lagoon - but they are daylight shy this time of year. Free line or cork live shrimp around the lighted docks around Lagoon landing and Lagoon Run on the west side of the pass. But don't go before 10pm - the later the better. Trout will be just outside of the lights, flounder under the lights on a 1/4 oz Carolina rigged live bull minnow.
Fish the west side of the lagoon pass just before dark with brown/gold mirror lures for big reds or 3/4 oz Cotten Cordell spoon for blues and skips. Throw curly tail Gulps for trout if you get tired of catching blues and drum.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
