Headed to Daytona in the AM
Taking a couple of surf rods and my shrimp pump to try to pull in some Florida Pomps. Couldn't tell much from the Satellite imaging but maybe I'll get lucky and have a good trough right out from the Condo.

G'luck, have fun and get bent!

Not much going on in Daytona as far as surf fishing is concerned. Manged to catch two small Whiting on orange fish bites on Friday. The waves were terrible and made it hard to wade out to get to the bar. Had a decent trough right out from the condo as long as the tide was in but by that time the beach was getting covered up. Didn't have any problem with rude locals or visitors, as most would walk behind my setup. As I was reeling in Saturday, had a guy tell me that the Blues were running, and hitting mullet. I was done by then, wished him well and gave him what shrimp I had left. I did see a couple Flounder caught while eatting at Crabby Joes on Sunglow pier.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
