It has arrived
A buddy and I will be traveling from Louisiana to GSP this Friday afternoon and hopefully be arriving between 8 and midnight. We are planning to fish as much as possible and leave Sunday afternoon. We have pretty much got what gear we need but if there are any tips for night fishing we would appreciate them. If y'all see two guys one tall young guy and an older short guy that's us. Don't hesitate to stop us and chat we need all the help we can get. Also you can spot us bc I will have a golf pull cart as a pier cart.

Re: It has arrived
For night fishing out there I would recommend lots of soap and hand sanitizer.

The night crowd isn't quite as sanitary as the day crowd. They tend to cut and clean fish where its not appropriate. The pier provides great cleaning tables at the T as well as cutting stations all over the place and for some reason these individuals don't use them, rather they use the rails. Its not un common for you to get out there before dawn and find your spot on the rail and put your arms in a bloody mess.

nothing like squidbelly in the morning.... :violent
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Re: It has arrived
alright tomorrow is the day. :yay: we will be leaving asap and hoping to fish all weekend. any last minute tips or things we need to make sure we bring?
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
