Had a Blast This Morning 7/1/12
Thanks Pier#r !!! I had a blast this morning. It was nice to meet your brother and the others that you introduced me to. I'm bad about remembering names so I won't mention any more, I'll just say Thanks to everyone who helped show me what to do. A special Thanks to the guy who fed a king, let it scream away, set the hook and then handed it to me and said here have fun! That was great. I got to fight him to the pier and see him before the hook pulled out. The Spanish that David hooked and gave me to fight and even the remoras that I caught were fun to get in. I learned just enough to be dangerous probably. I will be back later today I hope, and before daylight tomorrow for sure. If I do something dumb tell me so, if I do something annoying tell me that also. I want to learn as much from y'all as I can. I've been given a reason to return to GS/OB as often as I can.

Hi Pepper12,
we met briefly yesterday.
I'm glad to hear that you had a good time, that Southern Hospitality isn't dead and that you learned enough to be dangerous... Dangerous to the fish I hope :guns:

That was "Rusty" who passed the rod off to you. He said "I guess we've caught enough over the years to enjoy doing that now."
He's a top notch guy! :headbang:
I sure wish you could have caught a king, and I hope tommorrow is YOUR day!
BTW, my wife reminded me that Wolf Bay Lodge is a GREAT place to take your wife.
Hope y'all get to try it before you leave.
Thanks again, good luck and God bless!
Honorable mention goes to "Sam" who nailed not one, but two FINE spanish.

Thank you David and Thank Rusty the next time you see him that was great. I went back to the pier late and caught a bait and fished for a while but didn't get to feed anything. A young man that was called Russman caught a good king but got "sharked" the half he got in weighed almost 19 pounds and had the biggest head and girth that I have seen in three short trips to the pie rover the last two days.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
