Thread: Had a blast

My family and I got home (Summerville, Ga) last night from a week of fishing on the pier and I must say we had a great time. I'm a newb to salt water fishing as well as pier fishing so I really didn't expect to catch much. I really was just hoping for a learning experience and it was that and more. We really had a blast. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. I want to thank all of the locals for being so helpful in sharing tips and info to us newbs to help us catch fish, it really made all the difference in making our trip such a memorable one. I especially wanted to Viking guy for the vast amount of knowledge he shared with me, super guy he is. It was also great meeting Fin Chaser, Austin and there was a few others I didn't get your names. Thanks again for helping make our trip great.

It was an honor meeting you and i hope you will come back to visit soon. We have some wonderful pier family down here, and it makes every trip worth it whether fish are biting or not.

I am glad you came when the fish decided to put on a strong chew.

Glad you had a safe trip home as well. Maybe you'll be able to make it down more frequently each year. We'll all still likely be here doing our thing.
