Are you kidding? Most people on this forum come to the area to play golf.

Blue Angels Practice if they are in town.
    Navy Museum at NAS Pensecola
    Ft Morgan.
The Woody is a must if the park is still open in Sept. (WARNING! Not good for bad backs)
FloraBama - at least once to say you have been there
    Dolphin Cruise at sunset
Doc's for supper - in Orange Beach
Lambert's for supper, and lunch - and breakfast the next day - in Foley

That should cover any non-fishing time for a week.

Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Pokenfish - that could be a loaded question, so I will answer in a family friendly manner. It's a multi-level go cart track made out of wood timbers similar to a old time roller coaster. It's a blast to race up to the top of the figure eight and BOUNCE your way back to the bottom. The wooden track deck is a bit rough hence the warning to all how have lumbar laments.

And - a tid bit of little known knowlege.....the three go cart tracks, 3 put put courses, bungee swing and bumper boats are purchased with tickets. Each attraction is purchased with tickets, expensive tickets. But here is the key - tickets purchased BEFORE noon are half price.
So, after my early AM trip to the pier, I would stop by and load up on half priced tickets. Winner winner, chicken dinner. The tickets are good all day until closing.

at least that how it was last time I went.

Ok, thanks for the family friendly reply. I know what you are talking about. I never knew it was called the woody.

My daughter's favorite place on earth- Adventure Island in Orange Beach. Mr. Frank Hughes, a really great guy is the owner. Go karts, bumper boats, paddle boats, arcade(win tickets that you redeem for prizes) mini golf, ice cream and concessions. This is great place to go after dinner.
