Thread: green slime/grass

I've seen several posts that mention a lot of green slime/algae/grass that is seeming to make areas impossible to fish. Has anyone seen how things are out by Kiva Dunes/Fort Morgan? That's where we rent and will be there in just under 2 weeks. I know the water can change a lot in 2 weeks, but I don't recall reading about this much grass or slime this early in the season. Could be I just missed it.

I always just fish out front of our rental and have had more years than I would like to recall where the seaweed was just too much to work around. last year I lost multiple days to Cindy. This year we were hoping for better.

I was there (Fort Morgan)the week Pryor to Memorial Day - it was bad- from reports I am getting it still is - hopefully when you get there it will be better !
