Thread: great sale going on

Bass pro shops has a great sale going on at moment. I know alot of people prefer to support locals but I had a gift card so might as well use it. Sabiki rigs are on sale for .65 so I loaded up the old tackle box with them. One last my son a long time but I remember first time we went to pier we rented poles and were not getting a bite and some guy said if he just wants to catch one try this and gave us our first sabiki rig. He caught baitfish for hours and never even wanted to try for big fish. So now when we go if we see some young kids not catching we give them a sabiki rig and there face lights up when it is fish on. Last summer some people from Arkansas were not doing good and we gave them one and watched as they filled a cooler up with baitfish and pinfish for a fish fry(not real sure how that worked out for them) I guess that I should have told them not many people eat them :spank: but would have took the fun out of it for them.

Those are silver hooks. IMO they are not worth it. Look for some with gold hooks on them.

In store. The ones I got were gold hooks and the red hooks were .85

I found out those work better for LYs with the little green beads cut off ;-)

Great story about spreading the wealth by giving out those sabiki rigs.

IMHO the best part of the BPS sale was the reel and rod trade ins the past two weekends.
Still this Saturday the Bionic combo is a good buy and the Cotton Cordell Super Spots are 4 for $5

But the REALLY good values this weekend will be @ J&M and Outcast :headbang:

How did the trade in work? I must have looked at it wrong because I thought it showed they only gave you like 5.00 for yours but I didnt really pay much attention .
