I finally got out for a while today after a short hiatus.
arrived at daybreak and although it was cool, the wind was non-existant. Water was a little green but as the wind picked up, it cleared right off. The wind was from the S.East but only light. I and most everyone started out fishing the skinny water. After two hours with no action, we all moved to the octi. Bang, bang, bang, three Sheephead on live shrimp. That was all for the next two hours. I finally left since I wanted to try for reds later today.
I Havn't heard of any convicts being caught recently so at least it was a start, since a few fish did show up. Hope things will improve...more later if the redfish show up...
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
